A glorious new work is being made specially for the Jubilee Celebrations. Elizabeth! takes you dancing across the reigns of two great Queens. Commissioned for the Suffolk Show by DanceEast and made possible with support from Suffolk Community Foundation’s Let’s Create Jubilee Fund, Elizabeth has been designed to be performed alfresco and to entice you to join in with the celebrations.
Join EncoreEast, at the Suffolk Show or Christchurch Mansion, and learn an authentic dance from the reign of the first Queen Elizabeth to dance alongside EncoreEast. The Company will then perform a collage of dances to take us into the reign of our own Queen Elizabeth II. The programme ends with a short pop-up party celebration.
Elizabeth! celebrates the joy of dancing together, female leadership, and amazing local talent.
