Newark Book Festival - “One Doesn’t Stop at One Murder”
Celebrating 101 years since Agatha Christie’s first novel was published in the UK, this panel will honour one of Christie’s most iconic heroines Miss Jane Marple. It’s been 46 years since the final Marple novel was published in 1976, but the public’s appetite for this fantastic character lives on! This year, HarperCollins are publishing a new anthology of short stories featuring Miss Marple, penned by twelve remarkable bestselling and acclaimed authors. Crime Writer Elly Griffiths will join this panel to chat about her short story in the collection, and she will be joined by Martin Edwards, a leading expert, author and crime fiction critic and Crime Writer Lesley Thomson.
