The Wool Boat is back open near Burscough from Friday to Sunday and This week’s Thursday Treat, in response to requests from The Slipway Stitches knit and natter group on seeing Ali in her “Scrappy” cardigan, is J C Bretts “Landscape” DK of which we have 6 shades in stock.
Normal price is £3 per 100gram Ball, the treat price is £2 a ball.
The deal is the offer and will only be available to collect from the boat.
The Wool Boat is a unique floating Wool and Yarn shop based on a canal narrow boat. She is, as far as we know, the worlds only floating Knitting and Crochet shop. She carries a wide range of yarns from various manufactures, from basic acrylic yarn through Acrylic and Wool mixes to pure wools, in weights from lace to Aran. We also have on board a good selection of patterns and accessories from needles to buttons. All knitters and crocheter’s of whatever ability are welcomed to visit but at the moment we are still unable to maintain social distancing aboard, so it’s towpath sales out in the fresh air. We will be moored and open from 1 to 4 on Friday and 11-4 on Saturday and Sunday on The Leeds and Liverpool canal near The Slipway pub on Crabtree Lane.
