Want to find out what it's like to unearth an Ice Age mammoth? Hear more about the incredible Ice Age discoveries behind the BBC documentary “Attenborough and The Mammoth Graveyard” and meet the couple who made the discovery, Sally and Neville Hollingworth.
Neville and Sally will take you on an exciting behind-the-scenes adventure where you'll get to:
• Find out what it was like to discover the site
• How the documentary was made
• Find out how scientists examine their discoveries
• Learn about Mammoths, how they lived and how they died
The evening will cover:
A general re-cap of the documentary, about the finders and filming with Sir David Attenborough & Prof Ben Garrod, how the archaeologist of DigVentures got involved, the dig and the research. Learn more about Mammoths, including the bio-diversity and the climate.
