Shrewsbury International Comedy Festival 2022
Billed as a ‘summer of fun’, organisers of Shrewsbury International Comedy Festival are looking forward to its return this year, following an extended hiatus due to the pandemic. Hosted by Dan Nightingale, MC at the popular Severn Jesters comedy nights, the 2022 Gala Show in the 600-seat capacity main auditorium at Theatre Severn on Sunday 17 July, includes Steve Royle, Gary Delaney, duo Flo & Joan, Seann Walsh and Paul ‘Sinnerman’ Sinha.
Aside from the Gala Show, other performers and venues making up the festival’s three-day tenure in Shrewsbury’s town centre are as follows:
Thursday 14 - Josh Pugh, Lou Conran and Eddy Brimson in The Loft at The Old Post Office.
Friday 15 – Tudur Owen, Rob Rouse and Andrew Ryan at Henry Tudor House.
Saturday 16 - Justin Moorhouse (matinee), Mike Cappozola, Alistair Barrie, Danny McLoughlin at The Old Market Hall. Following the one-hour stand up performances, there will also be ‘late and lively‘ shows on Friday and Saturday evening at Havana Republic.
