Art in the Octagon

Art in the Octagon is a special one off art event entered in Buxton Festival Fringe. It features the work of 30 artists & makers from the High Peak Artists group who exhibit all year round in the Gallery in the Gardens.
There will be demonstrations on every stand! You'll see lots of different styles of painting, wood turning, weaving, printmaking, urban sketching, illustration, jewellery making, ceramics, photography techniques and lots more!
Watch the artists at work, talk to them about their techniques and of course, there'll be lots of fabulous art & craft to buy.
Here are some of the exhibitors: Sandra Orme, pastel artist; Jill Kerr Linocuts, Pauline Townsend Silk Painter, Andrew Brooks Photographer, Rita Chang Wildlife artist, Pam Smart architecture artist, David Steeden urban artist, Tracey Coverley - textile portraits, Adele Kime contemporary jeweller, Hannah Dodd felt artist, Pentimento Ceramics and so many more! And entry is FREE!
