Saturday 9th July

12:00 Midday to 4:00PM

All the fun of the traditional village fete. Come and join our lovely villagers on a fun afternoon out at our village hall and field. Lots of parking available and entry is free for all.

Help us raise funds for our village hall and field and Church as well as having a great family outing!

There will be loads of different stalls offering activities for children and adults.
Come and try to win a coconut, or a prize on the tombola. There is a Grand Prize Draw with a range of amazing prizes.

Throw wet sponges at some unlucky person who has found themselves in the village stocks. Try your hand at bowling or hooking a duck.

Professor James will be there with his famous Punch and Judy show to entertain children and adults alike.

To make sure it is truly traditional event there will be the children’s favourite stall…. the White Elephant where they can get, at a discount price, something you will have always wanted (or not as the case may be!)

The Women’s Institute will be supporting the fete with delicious home-made cakes and jams for sale. Cream teas and refreshments will be available from the kitchen. We will have a food truck for a lunch in the open air and a bar providing a range of grown-up drinks.

Try the inflatables, the rides or if you are keen on steam engines then take a ride on a miniature steam wagon.

If you need a break from all this activity, then come upstairs in the hall for some quiet time in our huge second hand book library full of great reads at silly cheap prices.

Outside the band will be playing and the dogs will be showing their paces at the agility and obedience games or displaying their beauty for the show judging.

All the fun of the fair, food and drink and lots of good company!
