Shelswell History Festival
This is our third open air festival and we will be teaming up with a separate 'Art in the Countryside' exhibition. This year's theme is Trades and Transport. Already booked are Roman and Anglo-Saxon re-enactors demonstrating trades of their period, a Pipe band and other music, Morris dancers, rural craft demonstrations, vintage, veteran, and classic cars, vehicles, and bicycles, history displays, craft and charity stalls, strolling players, tug of war, children's corner, and refreshments including a beer tent. Our nominated charities this year are The Woodland Trust, Oxfordshire Mind, and Shelswell group of churches.
