Addison Singers 50th Anniversary Concert
The Addison Singers celebrate 50 years of our history, with all four choirs, along with members of classes, singing a wonderful mix of classical and jazz favourites. Programme includes:
Jill Jarman - Sonnet to a Seal, Java Jive, Feeling Good, Tuxedo Junction, It Don't Mean a Thing, Where the Music Comes from (Lee Hoiby), Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves (Verdi), Anvil Chorus (Verdi), O Fortuna from Carmina Burana (Carl Orff), Let all the World in Every Corner Sing (Vaughan Williams), Sunday from Sunday in the Park with George (Stephen Sondheim), The Period of Cosmography (Weelkes), The Silver Swan (Gibbons), Tallis Canon (Tallis/Chilcott)
Doors open at 6:45pm
Concert starts at 7:30pm
Tickets in advance £15 adult £3 children
Tickets on the door £20 adult £5 children
The event is wheelchair accessible
There will be a bar selling wine and non-alcoholic beverages in the interval
