Aberystwyth Allotments Open Day for National Garden Scheme
Visitors will have access to 47 plots on two adjacent sites at Fifth Avenue and Caeffynnon alongside the picturesque Afon Rheidol.
Plot holders will be on hand to share their gardening knowledge and also give away their surplus fruit, vegetables and flowers.
There's a wide range of produce grown on the plots including vegetables, fruit, flowers and in the greenhouses tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers.
At Fifth Avenue site there is a wildlife pond where you can sit and watch brightly coloured dragonflies, damselflies, broad-bodied chasers and maybe the pair of mallard ducks that visit.
Home-made teas available. Refreshments in aid of 2nd Penparcau Scout Group.
