Enamelling for Beginners in the Cotswolds
Join Mark Vardy of Silvar Design for this fun, one day workshop exploring enamelling on copper, using a kiln. Make jewellery pieces, charms and more!
Learn basic enamelling techniques, have fun working with copper shapes, enamel powders, frits and threads. Progress onto techniques such as sgraffito, stencilling and scrolling. We will also explore counter-enamelling, simple cloisonné techniques and wet-laying.
No previous experience necessary.
Enamels will be freely available to use during the workshop. A starter pack of copper shapes are included and others are available to purchase on the day. Do come and join us, learn a new skill, have some fun and make a number of unique pieces of enamelled jewellery.
Cancellation deadline: 30th September 2022
Cancellation Policy: * Cancellations made 15 or more days before the workshop date are eligible for a full refund or credit note. Cancellations madebetween 8 and 14 days before the workshop are eligible for a 50% refund or credit note. No refunds can be given for cancellations made 7 days or less before the workshop date.
