Drop Spinning Workshop
Spinning wool into yarn and then weaving it into cloth was a staple skill in the Roman world. Join us to have a go at the ancient art of Drop Spinning, turning sheep wool into your own yarn. If time allows, you can then weave with your yarn.
Arrive at any point during the session and stay for as long as you’d like. The more you spin, the more yarn you’ll have to weave with.
Recommended for ages 7+ (all children must be accompanied by an adult). Adults without children welcome.
