Weekly Meditation Classes in Maidenhead
LEARN TO MEDITATE
Meditation is a simple but very effective method to calm the mind, let go of stress, tension and worry, and give rise to an experience of inner peace and wellbeing. Especially suitable for beginners you will be introduced to meditation techniques that can be practised by anyone. During this course you will get practical experience of the benefits of meditation, including how to use meditation to handle stress, be happy, stay focused and have harmony in your relationships. Buddhist monk, Kelsang Dorchen will teach this course.
January 25th– Beginning a meditation practice
February 1st – Quietening the Mind
February 8th – Training in Mindfulness and overcoming distractions
These weekly meditation classes include 2 guided meditations and a practical teaching on how to apply meditation to busy modern life. They are run as courses but you don't need to attend the full course and can just come along to individual classes as you wish.
Everyone is welcome.
These classes will be taught by Buddhist monk Kelsang Dorchen who has many years of experience within the Kadampa Tradition.
