Tiffield Open Gardens
The Annual Open Gardens. Monday August 29th 2022. Noon to 5.00pm. At least 10 open gardens showcasing the hard work of individual gardeners/families. ranging from small to large. The gardens will be present in their gardens to help you appreciate the variety of their beds and garden shapes. One garden is a 15 min walk outside the village in the countryside for which a free mini bus is there for you to use. The Free bus also goes to the different garden along a almost 3/4 mile long main street through the village.
There is hoped to be some gazebos in a 'small village' where people from the village will be displaying their crafts and skills.
We do have a vineyard in the village which is included in one of the Open Gardens.
Tickets can be purchased from the Gazebos opposite the church along with small snacks, teas, ploughman's lunches. Tickets can also be purchased in the village pub along with refreshments and drinks. the pub has recently won a top award from the Guinness company.
For those needing a toilet then besides the pub there is a toilet in the Church Room.
The annual Northamptonshire Village Awards (NVAs) celebrates how inclusive and sustainable a village is, two strands that reflect a thriving community and that add to the quality of life for all residents. This year the village of Tiffield was awarded a Gold level and the prestigious title of Northamptonshire Best Village 2022 along with a prize of £500 to be used for community projects.
Bank Holiday Monday August 29th 2022 between Noon and 5.00pm.
The entrance fee is £5.00 per person with accompanied children under 16 free. Cash only please. Tickets from either the ticket office (in a gazebo opposite the church) or The George Inn pub in the village.
Tiffield is about 5 miles off Jt15a on the M1going towards Towcester/Oxford. In fact after leaving the motorway it is on top of the hill first turning on the right.
