Ty Hafan Taff Trail
Ty Hafan is delighted to bring back the famous Taff Trail Cycle Challenge for 2022! We took a small break in 2018 but with the popularity of cycling soaring since the pandemic, we've brought it back so you can put that cycling experience to the test.
Taff Trail 2022
We have two amazing challenges for you to choose from: take on the 79km from Brecon Theatre to Cardiff Blackweir Fields or the 41km route from Merthyr Leisure Centre to Cardiff Blackweir Fields. Whatever distance you choose, you'll be doing something amazing for children with life-shortening conditions and their families across Wales.
There will be checkpoints along the famous Taff Trail where you can grab free snacks and water to re-energize and stay hydrated.
Participants will receive a t-shirt at the start of the event and a bespoke medal at the finish line.
In the past, participants had to be part of a team of four, but this year, we've opened the event to single registration. You can still cycle and fundraise with your friends, colleagues and family, but you're also welcome to go it alone. We've also lowered the age to take part in the Half Taff challenge to 12 years old when cycling with a responsible adult.
