North Sea Pelagic Cruise

Join marine expert Martin Kitching of Northern Experience Wildlife Tours for a four-hour pelagic boat trip on the North Sea. We hope to see dolphins, porpoises and sea birds.
Please arrive at 13:15 (17.15 on 22 July) as we will be leaving promptly at 13:30 (17.30). Pick-up from the Customs House in South Shields is also available.
Please wear warm clothing as it can be cold out at sea.
Suitable for children age 8 and over.
This trip is run jointly by Northern Experience Wildlife Tours, Northumberland Wildlife Trust and the Natural History Society of Northumbria.
NWT/NHSN members are being offered tickets at the discounted price of £38 (normally £40).
The boat we sail on is the JFKTWO. It's a modern catamaran used since 2014. It has a toilet and there is room in the wheelhouse for passengers if the weather is inclement. Accessing the boat at Royal Quays involves stepping up onto the deck, and accessing it at Mill Dam (South Shields) involves stepping down onto the deck.
Please note food and drink are not provided on this trip and therefore please make sure that you bring your own refreshments with you.
22 July 17.30-21.30; 5, 9, 23 August, 7 September 13.30-17.30. £40 per person or £38 for members of NWT/NHSN
