Forever Flowers 2022

City Hospice’s Forever Flowers will feature in a striking display designed by award-winning local artist Katherine Jones within the grounds of Cardiff Castle from Saturday July 30th to Sunday August 14th.

Forever Flowers, now in its second year, is an award-winning ‘in memory’ campaign which celebrates the lives of loved ones in a special way. This year’s flower is a sunflower, a global emblem of the hospice movement, which for many is a symbol of positivity, admiration, loyalty and devotion.

The display at Cardiff Castle provides an opportunity for people to come together and remember cherished family members, friends, colleagues and loved ones with a unique and lasting tribute.

Supporters will be able to collect their limited-edition flowers during the final weekend of the display or have their flower delivered to keep and plant somewhere special to them. This year, flowers can be engraved at a specially discounted rate at participating Timpson stores (St Mary Street, Cardiff and Culverhouse Cross) following the display.

The campaign supports the work of City Hospice, the only provider of home-based specialist palliative care in the capital. The charity provides care to people with terminal or life limiting illnesses, as well as essential counselling and support services for their families.

Forever Flowers is sponsored by Jeff White Motors (headline sponsor), Azets, Cardiff Rugby, Dario Security, Eversheds Sutherland, Harlequin Printing & Packaging and Premier Forest Group. Other businesses supporting the campaign include Pugh’s Garden Village, Sony and the Welsh Rugby Union.
