INTRODUCTION TO BUDDHISM: BASIC BUDDHISM
Buddhist teachings reveal a blueprint that anyone can follow to awaken their fullest potential for happiness. Learn the core insights and practices of Buddhism in a practical and accessible way.
The course is taught by Buddhist nun and resident teacher Gen Nyingpo and is suitable for everyone.
January 10th – Introduction to Buddhism and Buddhist meditation
January 17th – Identifying the mind and understanding how it functions to create both happiness and suffering
January 24th – The path to happiness
January 31st – Exploring the meaning of life
February 7th – Life and death, what comes next?
These weekly meditation classes include 2 guided meditations and a practical teaching on how to apply the ancient wisdom of Buddha’s teachings to busy modern life.
The classes are run as courses but you don't need to attend the full course and can just come along to individual classes as you wish.
Everyone is welcome.
Gen Kelsang Nyingpo has a wealth of experience having been ordained as a Buddhist nun for over 25 years and taught for many years internationally. Her teachings are warm and inspiring and she understands the challenges people face in their lives, offering practical advice and solutions for the modern world.
