Around 900 local artists and makers will be exhibiting their very best at 160 venues across the Lewes District this September.
Artwave festival runs from Saturday 3rd September to Sunday 18th September. Discover work by local creatives in unique locations from churches and barns to private homes, studios and glorious countryside settings. It is an inclusive un-curated festival which encourages creatives of all ages, any discipline and at all stages of their career, to take part.
A huge breadth of work will be on show, including jewellery, painting, sculpture, printmaking, textiles, ceramics, metalwork and photography. Visitors can explore venues around Newhaven, Peacehaven, Seaford, Lewes and many of the surrounding villages. Take an afternoon, a weekend or even three weeks to explore this vibrant part of Sussex, meet the artists and makers, and get inspired. Artwave is a great opportunity to shop local and support our local creative community.
