Sheffield Skeptics in the Pub hosts monthly meetings of talks by invited experts at Farm Road Sports & Social Club on Farm Road, Sheffield S2 2TP. On Monday, Aug 15th at 7.30 pm Dr Richard Firth-Godbebere will give a talk of general interest on ‘A Human History of Emotion: How the way we feel built the world we know‘. Dr Firth-Godbehere will show us how much events in our history are the result of our feelings and emotions rather than our reasoning.
Sheffield Skeptics in the Pub was founded in December 2009 and is a good way for people from all walks of life to hear from experts and discuss with them important issues that affect us all, while enjoying a pint. No need to book, but a voluntary donation at the meeting is welcome to cover expenses.
