Artist Talk: Graham Boyd
UH Arts are thrilled to be hosting a talk by exhibiting artist Graham Boyd who's show 'Volatile Creatures' runs throughout the summer in the Art & Design Gallery.
In the accompanying artist's talk, Boyd will talk through his inspiration and share how his practice continues to grow in his 9th decade. He will discuss key moments in his career and their influence on his work.
A standout event was attending Triangle workshop in America in the 1980's. This lead to a shift from his ordered New Hampshire Grids from the 1970's, his larger colourful paintings of the 1980's, leading up to his present day works.
The talk is on the 8th September at 18:00 and is free.
