Blaisdon Sausage, Cider & Plum Festival

Live music headliners Jemima Philips - electro rock harpist - and Nick Asserati (Sad Dads) “Old Folk” band, plus the county’s premiere kids entertainer, David Lloyd “The Music Man”.
Free entry for live music, kids and family entertainment, Dog Show, Shire Horse experience, plus Blaisdon Hall Garden Tours, cake, art and produce competitions, BBQ and stalls galore.
Blaisdon is famous for breeding the world’s largest shire horses and the legendary Blaisdon Plum - once a staple of English jam. So come and meet and maybe take a dray ride with two magnificent horses, “Millie” and “Willam”, Coldcroft Farm’s celebrity Shires, and enjoy our plum-related tomfoolery in the Festival Field.
Go for a tour of Blaisdon Hall’s magical gardens, laugh out loud to “Music Man” David Lloyd, dance and sing along to live music, taste one of a dozen varieties of sausage and sample a multitude of ciders including local brews Jolter's Press and Severn Cider.
All your favourite stalls will be there: arts and crafts, boozy bottles, toy and games exchange, local produce, cakes and more.
12pm David Lloyd ``The Music Man” - for the young and young at heart,, an hour of fun, giggles and belly laughs. Expect music-making, singing, dancing, party games, storytelling, drama and puppetry - and audience participation.
1:15pm Will Keeble - Super talented guitar soloist reimagining covers from the likes of Eagles, Travis and The Verve.
2pm Nick Assirati’s “Old Folk” - the Sad Dads guitarist leads an upbeat folk quartet. www.facebook.com/ladiesformanorderlyqueue.
2:45pm HEADLINER Jemima Philips - don’t miss this! We’re delighted to present this amazing rock harpist with her upbeat floor filling beats and loops. www.jemimaphillips.co.uk.
3:30pm Paul Hopson - Rat Pack legend closes the Festival with his raucous 50s and 60s “get up and dance” set.
