Leeds, Celebrate Local Science and Innovation with Cancer Research UK
As part of the Heritage Open Days calendar of activity, Cancer Research UK is hosting an evening to celebrate local science and innovation. The event will be held at Nexus, University of Leeds, LS2 3AA on Tuesday 13 September, event starts at 6pm.
This unique evening is an opportunity to learn about local Cancer Research UK-funded research projects. A panel of Leeds-based researchers will talk about the life-saving projects they are working on and how they are helping us to beat cancer sooner.
There will be the chance for participation during a Q&A session with the researchers and you can get involved with interactive science sessions. Light refreshments will be served during the evening.
Everyone is welcome, but we do request that under 16s are accompanied by an adult. Tickets are limited, so to reserve your free place at this special event visit:
