Holt Island Nature Reserve
Heritage Open Day: A visual historical display of the basket making business, a display of the original tools and baskets made from willow that was harvested on the island. Holt Island Nature Reserve is a 7 acre oasis of tranquillity in the centre of St Ives, it provides a variety of habitats which attract a wide range of birds, mammals, plants and insects.
Samples of the original Harrison baskets are on display. You can 'Strip the Willow' and enjoy a family quiz in the Holt cabin.
