Swing Dancing and Shared Reading at The Reader

Heritage Open Day: “Let us read, and let us dance; these two amusements will never do any harm to the world.” Voltaire The Reader would like to invite you celebrate our Garden Theatre’s heritage with a day of Swing Dance with Mersey Swing and Shared Reading Join us in celebration of our Garden Theatre’s heritage with a day of live music, demonstrations and drop-in taster sessions in Swing dancing from Mersey Swing. There will also be the opportunity to pull up a chair (or picnic blanket!) to read and share in some of the poetry and stories that inspire The Reader on our mission to bring about a Reading Revolution so that everyone can experience and enjoy great literature.
