There will be art and craft activities for children, and refreshments will be served in the church garden. This church has just completed a 10 year restoration scheme and is now fully restored and decorated to a very high standard of craftsmanship.
It was built in 1935 on the highest point in New Brighton in Wallasey and its massive green dome is visible for miles across Merseyside and beyond.
It features as an official landmark on the shipping charts, and it earned its local nick name of 'The Dome of Home' during the Second World War when it was the first welcome sight of home for sailors returning to the port of Liverpool.
