Candlelit Christmas Concert - Kids for Kids
Join us for our Annual Candlelit Christmas Concert on Thursday 1st December 2022! Once again our Candlelit Concert will be held at St Peter’s Church in Eaton Square, London. This is the perfect start to the Christmas season – Carols by Candlelight.
This year we are thrilled that Timothy West CBE, Valerie Singleton OBE and Karen Jankel, daughter of Paddington Bear‘s creator, Michael Bond, will be joining us. We are also delighted that Thames Fanfare Brass will once again be raising the roof. What would a Christmas Concert be without a Trumpet Fanfare?! The angelic voices of the Queen’s Gate School Choirs will fill the church with gorgeous songs and there will, of course, be plenty of favourite Christmas Carols too for you to join in!
For the past 21 years Kids for Kids have been transforming long term the lives of children and their families living in remote villages out of sight of the world. To date there are 110 Kids for Kids’ villages where children are no longer hungry, where water is close at hand, and where there is health care for both humans and animals. But there are many more children in need right now. 2022 has seen some of the worst conditions ever in Sudan. Inflation is out of control, basic essentials are in short supply, and climate change is not only causing higher temperatures than ever before, floods periodically destroy countless homes. Kids for Kids is needed more than ever.
