About this event
To celebrate our beautiful waterways the Canal & River Trust are running our yearly festival in Attercliffe. Don Valley moorings in Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park will become a hive of activity with lots of activities for you to try, many are free charge and some may have small fees.
Onsite you will find from 11am-3pm:
Canoe taster sessions
Arts and Crafts
Bhangra workshop
Circus skills
Bushcrafts
Drumming
Stalls from local sellers and organisations
Food will be available nearby by local street food vendors.
Worried about finding the festival? Attercliffe Don Valley Moorings are easy to walk to from the English Institute of Sport and Oasis Academy, Don Valley. Arena/Olympic legacy park tram station is a short walk away. There is plenty of free parking available in the car park opposite the Masjid Quba Education Centre (MQEC) near the school. There site will be signposted from the Olympic Legacy Park and the tram station.
You can also walk from this location to our other site in Victoria Quays. There are different activities on offer at both sites. and a 30-40 minute walk apart.
YOU DO NOT NEED A TICKET FOR THIS EVENT SO FEEL FREE TO SHOW UP ON THE DAY BUT YOU CAN RESERVE TICKETS ON HERE SO WE HAVE AN IDEA OF ATTENDEE NUMBERS
