Rock star Dave Berry reveals Secrets of the 60's
An afternoon with 1960's star Dave Berry (Little Things, Crying Game) where he reveals what life was like touring with The Rolling Stones, being mobbed by crowds across Europe, and dating Mandy Rice-Davies who was at the centre of the Profumo Affair.
Plus 60's music and show promoter Alan Goldsmith who worked with all the biggest names in the business including The Who, The Small Faces, Dionne Warwick, Elton John and Gene Vincent. Alan will tell the story of why he turned down Tom Jones for a gig, and how much he paid Stevie Wonder for one of his first shows here.
Hosted by popular radio presenter Steve Scruton, Steve will also reveal how he recreated 60's pirate radio off the Essex coast working with the original legends including Johnnie Walker, Tony Blackburn and Emperor Rosko.
There'll be a fun 60's music quiz, a chance to ask questions AND you can bring along your 60's memorabilia for a valuation... you might be sitting on a fortune!
