Men Challenging Sexism Conference
The 2-day conference will take place at Cathays Methodist Church and will feature talks, workshops, activism and chances to get to know like-minded people. The church is accessible and 20-30 minutes on foot from Cardiff Central Station.
Saturday Events:
Chris Green (co-founder of Male Allies Challenging Sexism and founder of White Ribbon UK) will give a workshop called 'How much housework do you do matey?'.
David Brooks (MACS volunteer and founder of the Men for Feminism Facebook group) will host a panel / round table discussion about 'Pornography and Male Entitlement'.
MACS volunteer Tobi will host a workshop on 'Anti-feminist myth busting'.
Sunday Events:
Daniel Principe from Collective Shout in Australia will give a talk about 'Engaging men and boys to disrupt the bystander effect and porn culture'.
Also on Sunday, educator Christian Wilton-King will give a talk about 'The Impact of Pornography and Broaching the Subject With Children'.
