Handprinted Christmas Wrapping Paper Workshop
Your wrapped presents are going to look gorgeous this year! Join this festive creative session from Animate Arts led by professional printmaker Tina Hagger where you will learn to design, carve and handprint your own rubber stamp, using it to create beautiful bespoke Christmas wrapping paper and gift tags.
No experience is necessary and all tools and materials are provided. Bring your friends and have a cheery pre-Christmas get-together! You will be able to take home your rubber stamp, your gorgeous handprinted wrapping paper and gift tags, plus the skills to carry on carving and printing stamps at home.
NOTES for participants:
• Preparation: To get the most out of the session it would be useful if you could draw a simple Christmas image that you would like to make into a small rubber stamp (maximum 7.5cm x 7.5cm), and bring this with you. Alternatively bring a photo of something you would like to make into a rubber stamp (think Mistletoe, Holly, a Robin, a Snowman, Santa's face etc).
• Although this will not be a super messy workshop, there is ink/paint, so you might want to bring an apron with you.
