Join our choir in Newton Mearns for a FREE taster session

If you are wanting to find a local choir to join you'll find just what you were looking for with us in the Rock Choir.

Your friendly local Newton Mearns choir is run byvocal tutor Elaine Williamson. We support a number of local good causes, raising money and awareness around Glasgow and as a choir we also join up with other branches of Rock Choir to support national charities such as Comic Relief, Missing People and Refuge with flash mobs, fundraising events and concerts.

Joining a choir can be a brave step to take for some and in light of this Elaine tries to make it as easy as possible for you by giving the opportunity to have a FREE taster session and then to have a chat with it about singing. Rock Choir is the leading group in community singing. We launched our FREE choir taster sessions back in 2005 and have 18 years experience giving members of the public who are new to group singing the chance to try joining a choir without the need to audition or read music.

Here is a quote about our choir - 'The most uplifting, inspirational and empowering choir in the country. Not only are they the biggest choir in the world, they truly do move you in a way I didn't think possible ' - Nick Patrick (7 x Classical Brit Award winning record producer with record sales of 40 million records)
