Soprano and Male Voices in Concert

The Cotswold Male Voice Choir continue their Autumn concerts with a return to St. Matthew's Church, opposite Cheltenham Library, on Saturday 15th October. The ever popular “Cotswolds” sing a wide range of songs, both classical and modern, that will appeal to people of all ages.
Joining them will be Cheltenham's Holly Seward. Holly began training as a soprano under Charmaine Worrall, aged 15, later graduating from the University of Chichester with a degree in Music Performance. During her time at Chichester, she was a member of the prestigious University Chamber Choir performing in numerous concerts in a variety of venues including Chichester and Arundel Cathedrals, Birmingham Symphony Hall and St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City. Now based back in Cheltenham, she is a regular guest soloist with Cheltenham Minster Singers. She will be accompanied, as usual, by Paul Collacott.
A choir supporter wrote on-line We are looking forward to hearing the contrast between a soprano and the powerful male voice harmonies. Another bonus is St. Matthew's is one of the most comfortable churches in the region, almost like a concert hall.
The Choir is currently benefitting from a resurgence in people wanting to sing following recent television programmes. If you are interested in joining, booking or listening to the Choir, go to www.cotswoldmvc.org.
7.30pm to 9.30pm: To purchase £10 tickets with no booking fee go to www.cotswoldmvc.org. Also available on the door.
