Shuttleworth in Lights 2022
Share a unique, after-dark adventure with your friends and family this December, with our Shuttleworth in Lights event.
Our popular illuminated trail returns, with the theme ‘Big, Bold Colour’ for 2022. In addition to the sublime surroundings of the beautiful Swiss Garden, this year the Shuttleworth Collection will also feature, enabling visitors to enjoy our world class aircraft and vehicle Collection across six hangars in lights, after dark. Come and explore our visitor attraction in a way never seen before.
In addition to the Collection, enjoy the magnificent cedars, ancient oaks, ponds, bridges and listed structures of the Swiss Garden, beautifully lit. Revisit Lord Ongley’s lamp-lit Regency garden, which so impressed contemporary visitors in the 1830s that it was described as a ‘fairyland’.
Our popular Runway Café, along with our Coffee Pod will be serving festive mulled wine, and a selection of other hot and cold beverages, treats and snacks until 21:00 each evening. Our Gift Shop will also be open until 21:00, with a wonderful section of gifts, cards, toys and much more to support your Christmas shopping, and we will be providing a free trail for children throughout the event.
If you are visiting between 16th and 18th December, don’t forget to visit our wonderful Christmas Craft Fair at Shuttleworth House, which will be open until 19.00 – admission is included in your ticket price.
