FREE Roman Event Day
Event Days are BACK at Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery! Join us on Saturday 29th October to explore the Romans with the help of living history group, Guarderobe! Meet Geminus, retired gladiator turned gladiator trainer, to find out about the training, diet and life of a typical slave gladiator. Try on gladiatorial equipment and find out the strengths and weaknesses of different fighting styles!
There will also be a Roman-themed ‘Make and Take’ craft activity for our younger visitors and an opportunity to view a Roman skeleton that is not usually on display.
The Roman Event Day is free and there is no need to book. Drop in anytime from 11am to 4pm. All children should be accompanied by an adult.
