Kumihimo Braiding - Fun for all the family
Join guest tutor Mark Vardy from Silvar Design as he introduces you to Kumihimo braiding. Kumihimo is a Japanese form of making braids.
In this 2 ½ hour workshop we’ll look at simple 8-strand braid, an 8-strand square braid and a flat braid. Both round and square Kumihimo disks will be provided and are yours to take home.
A selection of coloured cords will be available for you to choose from. Cord ends and fittings will be provided for the three items you make during the workshop. Detailed instruction leaflets will also be provided.
Suitable for ages 11+. Children 16 & under must be accompanied by a participating adult.
