Verdi's Aida
Guildford Opera's production of Verdi's Aida is sung in English and accompanied by a chamber orchestra. Using evocative lighting, Guildford's Holy Trinity Church is transformed into the centre of the Lotus cult where the tragic love story of Aida, an enslaved Ethiopian princess and Radames, the Egyptian general unfolds.
