Tamesis Chamber Choir presents Handel's Messiah

Professional soloists, an award-winning conductor, one of Berkshire’s best choral ensembles and a headline-making orchestra… as if one of the best loved oratorios of all time wasn’t enough, the combination of performers and musical direction for our next concert is set to make it a highlight of 2022.

Buy your tickets now to avoid disappointment. St Joseph’s College, just east of Reading town centre, provides an excellent setting for the concert, with plenty of parking on-site and public transport links on the Claret bus route from Reading train station.

Tamesis seldom has the chance to perform large-scale choral works so we’re thrilled to be collaborating with our friends at Aldworth Philharmonic Orchestra (APO) in this concert.

The concert is presented by Andrew Taylor, Conductor and APO Musical Director and Louise Rapple Moore, Tamesis Musical Director, with soloists Ellie Neate - Soprano, Elinor Carter - Alto, Will Searle - Tenor, Alex Jones - Bass
