Festive Fun at Surrey Quays
In the run up to the Christmas holidays, Surrey Quays Shopping Centre is inviting children to come and visit Santa at his magical Headquarters on select dates from Saturday 19th November.
Full of Christmas cheer, Santa’s HQ includes Christmas trees decorated in sparkling lights, as well as an assortment of festive games, and musical instruments for little ones to enjoy.
Children get an ‘elf and safety’ briefing on arrival at the workshop, before dressing up in a hi-vis vest and hard hat to help Santa and the jolly elves prepare for the big day. A variety of games, including musical Santa statues, reindeer noughts and crosses, and ‘pass the presents’ will be available to play, as well a special Christmas Eve elf song to learn all the dance moves to.
There will also be an array of shelves containing letters to Santa, which visitors will help the elves to sort to ensure everyone gets a present on Christmas Day. Santa will then give each letter a final check before storing them away in his sack.
After waving goodbye to Santa and his elves, families will meet the Christmas Spirit Gingerbread Men.
Santa’s HQ is free to visit with no need to book in advance. It is open on the following dates during the build up to Christmas:
- Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th November from 11am until 4pm
- Every day from 3rd to 23rd December from 11am until 4pm
- Saturday 24th December from 10am – 3pm
