Festive beaded wire workshop.

Get in the festive spirit with an afternoon of making beaded wire Christmas characters to add some seasonal glitz and sparkle!

We will begin the workshop with everyone making a beaded Santa together to learn how to make the characters and then once our Santas are finished you will have the chance to make whichever of the festive characters you would like. Materials will be provided to make four pieces/characters in total - depending on how quick you are these may not all be made in class but you will have ‘how to’ guides to follow and materials provided to carry them on at home.

It is up to you what you make your beaded characters into - there will be supplies to turn them into earrings, hanging decorations, wine glass charms or you can just attach a loop to the top to thread it onto a necklace chain of your own at home.

Festive nibbles and refreshments will be provided to help focus your creativity!

Please do be aware that the beads are very small (1mm) and making these creations can be quite fiddly but as long as you have patience and good eyesight for small details you will be fine!

The class is for 18 years and older. 16 and 17 year olds can participate if accompanied by a participating adult.

Please note that I am running this event twice on the 3rd or 10th December if one date suits better! The event is limited to 7 spaces on each day due to the size of the venue. The location is the glass pod on the first floor of Crawley Library.

Please note the library car park is off of Haslett Avenue not Southgate avenue as the library is on a corner. Unfortunately the car park is pay and display. There is also another larger car park just past the library on Southgate avenue if needed (which I think is also slightly cheaper!)
The class is from 14:15pm-4:45pm and costs £45.
