‘Sha la la Joseph you’re doing fine!’ One of the most enduring shows of all time, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a reimagining of the Biblical story of Joseph, his father Jacob, eleven brothers and the coat of many colours.
Class Act Theatre School, Swansea is thrilled to be returning to Taliesin with this family favourite! Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will be CATS Swansea’s first fully staged production since 2019 and we can’t wait to share it with you.
The magical musical is full of catchy songs in a variety of styles, from a parody of French ballads (‘Those Canaan Days’), to country and western (‘One More Angel in Heaven’) and calypso (‘Benjamin Calypso’), along with the unforgettable classics ‘Any Dream Will Do’ and ‘Close Every Door’.
Join our fabulous cast of students aged from 6 to 18 years old as they take us ‘way, way back, many centuries ago’, to Ancient Egypt in this colourful, energetic, toe tapping show.
