An Evening Talk at The Elms - Portsdown Hill: a stroll through time
Join us in the Waterloo Room on Wednesday 26 June 2024 at 7.30pm for an illustrated talk by Nigel Gossop.
Portsdown Hill; a stroll through time is a virtual circular walk using photographs and images to tell the history and stories of some of the places we pass on the route. Covering tea gardens, military influences, prefabs, fairs, camp sites and many changes that have taken place to the familiar hill that dominates the Portsmouth skyline. No stout walking shoes or wet weather clothing required.
Tickets are £5 each available in advance from the Trust Manager. Free parking is available nearby at Bidbury Mead Recreation Ground.
The talk is expected to last approximately 1 hour and is illustrated via Power Point.

There is no parking onsite but free parking is available at nearby Bidbury Mead Recreation Ground.
