Specialist Autumn Plant Fair - Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens

Specialist Autumn Plant Fair - Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens

Our last plant fair for 2025 season, organised by Plant Heritage. A little earlier this year because of the early Bank August Holiday the week before.

A really good selection of plants from some of the best growers in the South & West of England. Late flowering perennials, scented plants, exotic Jungle plants, ornamental grasses, alpines, cacti, succulents, drought tolerant plants plus shrubs, shade lovers including Ferns. Buy interesting plants direct from the people who grew them, at sensible prices and pick up welcome tips and advice. 25+ different stalls, including ironwork crafts, Butterfly Conservation charity and some garden related sundries. Barista coffee stall amongst the plants. Dogs welcome on short leads. Plant Heritage members also have their own large stall offering interesting plants & unusual plants grown by them. Please bring a mix of cash & cards for plant purchases.

The fair is situated on the large West Lawn at Abbotsbury Gardens. If you buy plants, it is easy to return to your car and gain re-entry to the fair or explore the 30 acre gardens for no extra charge.
