Barn Dance ~ Charity fundraising for The Music Man Project
An annual Fund Raising Barn Dance in aid of The Music Man Project
New year will be gone and gotten over so it's the time to start dancing again.
Live band with callers to assist those who've never danced before ~ it's easy and it's fun. Organised by Cockleshell Clog Dancers who since 2012 have supported the 'Music Man Project'
This is the sixth February fund-raising barn dance supporting the project; so far, we’ve raised over £2000.00.
The project, which started in Southend, has now spread throughout the UK and abroad.
Rather than focusing on their disability, everyone is treated as a musician.
The Music Man Project develops the musical instinct that lies within us all to instil confidence, self-esteem and as a vehicle for joy and emotional expression.
Southend Mencap, the charity which runs the project, has only the highest aspirations for what can be achieved by everyone involved in this unique innovation.

19:30 to 22:30 on Saturday evening, the 4th February 2023. Tickets £10.00 each (under 16's: £5.00) plus raffle. Bring Your Own (BYO) booze and nibbles.
