Frome Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
A warm welcome awaits at 2 differing town gardens. 61 Nunney Roads well cared for garden welcomed a new owner in 2019 who has redesigned the garden with a terrace, lawn, shrubs, and flowerbeds around old established fruit trees; 2 small deep ponds, a wild corner encouraging wildlife into the garden, vegetable patch and greenhouse. The owner considers herself an untidy gardener, she falls for plants then finds the right place for them! In contrast 84 Weymouth Road, seasoned NGS openers, open their garden designed by and celebrating the life of Simon Relph. Architectural designed metal arches and geometrical raised beds surround a central raised deep pond. Sculpture by their son Alex Relph, and other artists, feature throughout.
