Herstmonceux Parish Trail - Open Garden for NGS

Seven gardens inc a historic windmill and allotments. In Cowbeech there are three gardens. Cowbeech House, a place to linger, has an exciting range of water features and sculpture in the garden dating back to 1731. Vintage car collection on site to view. Merrie Harriers Barn is a garden with sweeping lawn and open countryside beyond. Colourful herbaceous planting and a large pond with places to sit and enjoy the view. A developing garden that 7 yrs ago was agricultural land. Kerpes, new in 2023, is a delightful mixture of mature trees, shrubs, herbaceous borders, vegetable garden, ponds and a meadow. The Allotments at Stunts Green comprise 54 allotments growing a huge variety of traditional and unusual crops. In Herstmonceux there are three gardens to visit.
