Highsett Cambridge - Open Garden for NGS
Several delightful town gardens will be open to view in this well known housing complex within central Cambridge. Set in large communal grounds with fine specimen trees, many 70+ years old, and lawns. A haven for children and wildlife. Architect Eric Lyons planned the whole estate in the late 1950s with a mixture of flats, small houses and large town houses, the very ethos of tranquil living space for all generations. Several of the open gardens have been skilfully modernised by garden designers.
