Duxford Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
Several village gardens of different sizes and characters. Duxford Mill gardens are always enchanting, with the mill pond, the mill race and the river defining the way the 11 acres are gardened. The tiny, charming 2 Green Street is always full of colour and interest. 31 St Peters Street, on a steep slope, is filled with colour and surprises, and also has a dry rockery in front of the house. Bustlers Cottage has an acre of cottage garden inc vegetable garden and recently planted hedges. Stop here and try a home-made cream tea and buy some plants. Finally at 16 Ickleton Road, the garden is packed full of unusual plants, some for sale.
