This unusual seaside garden emerged from the year 2000, a gradual process with beds being excavated from a field on this former dairy farm. Limey topsoil was brought in to neutralise the heavy clay. All the trees and hedges were planted as small saplings. Due to the extremely high winds and salty sea air, it was necessary to form wind breaks. The garden is now packed with a vast array of trees, shrubs, roses and perennials.
