Warton Gardens - Open Garden for NGS

The 6 gardens and allotments are spread across the village and offer a wide variety of planting and design ideas. Our group offers a contemporary garden skilfully planted on limestone pavement, a flower picking garden, a mature cottage style garden with unusual herbaceous planting, trees and productive vegetable/soft fruit section, 21 allotments, a large garden comprised of a series of rooms each with a different atmosphere and 2 new gardens which have been created in the last 2 yrs and are 'work in progress'. We would like to encourage families and will be offering activities at some gardens throughout our openings. Warton is the birthplace of the medieval ancestors of George Washington, the family coat of arms can be seen in St Oswald's Church.
